LEARN FROM MY EXPERIENCE


When I was at High school, 1st year High school to be exact.
I have so many friends here and there.
As a growing teen, usually we do so many stuff.
explore so much and do many things.
Then it came to a time that we as a group of friends,
our curiosity take us to do many things.
One of which is smoking cigarettes.


At first we just try it for curiosity, yeah first it taste so awful
and makes you don't wanna smoke again but then there is always a time, that if our group meet each other
someone always thought of buying cigarettes again just for us to smoke while in conversation in our hidden place.


Then the same routine goes on and on, that the addiction sets in.
Yes cigarettes is addictive, the awful taste turns to a very good flavor in your tongue, you always wanna see the smoke coming out in your lips.


When my circle of smoking friends gets together,  we always sharing thought, someone told me smoking paired with coffee in the morning taste so good that's how hes father do every morning! other tells that "When i finish eating I always smoke after, cause there is NO any other THINGS to do other than sit and let my system digest the food.


For curiosity, Ive tried that also and yes I don't know about this but Ive enjoyed doing that and it turns out to be a routine again.


Years passed, Still a smoker but not a heavy smoker, what i mean about heavy is that i can consume 2 to 3 packs of cigar a day.


I'll always smoke whenever i wanna feel like doing it, whenever i feel like doing it, I mean I'm just smoking 4 to 6 sticks in a day.


To cut it short, for the love of music, I played guitar, then making new friends, and formed a band.
Guess what? band of smoker again!LOL!


We always practice 4 hours a day, then smokes a lot, cause of mentality you look cool when you smoke and you're in a rock band.LOL!


Then I really don't know but i observe that whenever someone lights a cigarette others follow but
the reason for me is; the room we practice on is just a small room, when you see someone playing smoke in her lips and sniffing it makes you want to do it also.


Smoke here smoke there and their comes a time that i can no longer stop myself from smoking, my tongue always searching for that smell and taste that makes me want to light cigarette over and over again.


Up until December 22 2011 I'm smoking, heavily, really i was still at 22 that time and i smoke a lot for the the past 8 years.

HOW DID I QUIT

Always Remember This,
Mind over Matter!
Help yourself to stop, make yourself to stop.
Yes, quitting is so hard,
But keep this in mind;
People friends see you a heavy smoker, then there will be a scenario.
Friends offer you cigarette, then you say "no i have quit that thing a long time ago"
If I where your friend offering you the cigarette, in my mind i'll say "wow, He really do quit smoking" then this big achievement of you will be spread to every people you know and and they will be proud of you and set you as an example.
For my experience, this is very rewarding and it feels so good talking people about you that you don't smoke anymore.
What will you gain in smoking?
Yes you can gain something really!
-cancer
-bad breath
-swollen gum
-Aging fast
-heart problems
-etc.
"Quit now if you value your life"
LOL
This is my steps i did that leads me to a clean healthy life:
I focused on something more important like looking for a work,
then i did get a job, It really is a hard job and it pays you a little.
The reason I work because i want to buy something that i wanna have.
Imagine having a job and pays you a little amount! Then I realize I should stop buying/smoking cigarette,
and just save my money to buy stuff I really need.
I challenged One of my friends that we should stop smoking,
Yes this really helps a lot,we have a agreement to stop smoking because its our own good.
Guess who won in our challenge?
Both.
When my body makes me really want to smoke, I fight it back play games, do first what i want to do.
When i was starting to quit, i didnt quit entirely, like "I'll QUIT then BOOM i didn't smoke anymore.
No, What I did was I bought 1 pack give it to a person one in my house.
Whenever I want to smoke, Ill get one from him, why did i give it to him?
The role of that person, will remind you to quit yeah its up to him also to give 1 stick to you or not and will remind you like "You want to smoke again? I thought you are quitting" Maybe he will give you one its up to him.But remember what he or she reminding you. You can give him back again the cigarette stick or smoke it.
Ive Listed down How much I consume of stick of cigarette a day, track down my improvement and be proud of myself.
This is how I quit smoking.
This will not assure you that you will get rid of smoking addiction
